Media Center Policies

Admission
  1. Students coming to the media center must have a pass signed by an appropriate teacher.
  2. Students coming to the media center must sign in.​

Use of the Media Center
  • Students may come to the media center to complete homework, use the computers, read magazines and/or books, and complete research.
  • Proper student behavior is expected when using the media center.  Be considerate of the needs of those completing work.​

Circulation Policies and Procedures.
  1. Unless otherwise restricted, all materials circulate for a period of 28 days and may be renewed for an additional 28 days.
  2. A maximum of 4 books may be checked out by any one student.
  3. Materials not returned by the end of the day on the due date will be fined ten cents per item per school day until the material is returned.  The maximum fine is $5.00 per item for lateness. 
  4. Fines for Playaways are $1.00 per item per school day with a maximum fine of $10.00 per Playaway for lateness.
  5. Lost or damaged materials will be fined based on the value of the materials.
  6. Books with unpaid fines may not be renewed.  
  7. Books reserved by another patron may not be renewed.
  8. Due dates are stamped on each circulated item.  It is up to the borrower to return items on time.
  9. Students with overdue books or outstanding fines will not be permitted to check out additional materials.​
